Chris Lytle, Executive Director

Chris is the founder and visionary of Spiritual Roads. He began his spiritual journey in 2004. He has a heart for the hurting and life experiences that drive him to reach out, offer, and provide new tools and coping mechanisms to the local community of individuals in need. “Our mission at Spiritual Roads is to come alongside and help people recover and heal.Together we will grow spiritually, emotionally and become productive members of our local community.”

More than 18 years of experience in the AOD (Alcohol & Other Drug) field and over 10,000 hours of addiction counseling experience.

Sam has had a heart for other programs which have a mission of supporting:

Youth development, providing good moral standards and the deployment of each child’s full

potential, as they are guided and supported by good role models, and helping them to

interpret their experiences in an uplifting way

Maturing individuals, to help them understand themselves better as they seek to understand

their special purpose in their life—and then becoming a cheerleader for their efforts

Howard White, PMP, Secretary

Howard is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a career in software development and large system technical project management. Howard provides business counseling through SCORE and SBDC (Small Business Development Center) - two not-for-profit SBA (Small Business Administration) organizations helping launch and grow small businesses and non-profit organizations in Tuolumne County and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

Howard is active with Celebrate Recovery and the worship team at Sierra Bible Church

Past Advisory Board member for Shepherd’s Gate, a non-profit organization providing a safe

haven and support for women & children who are homeless due to abusive relationships or addictions

Past Advisory Board member at Valley Christian Church, Concord, CA

Past Volunteer IT Professional for non-profit organizations at CompuMentor

Past Executive Officer for Nikos Projects, a non-profit organization benefiting victims of head-

trauma and short-term respite care for primary caregivers of head-injury survivors

Rickey Woodall, Founding Past Vice President

Qualifications:

Rickey has a heart for people, young and old, whose lives are being destroyed by the bondage of drugs, alcohol &/or other addictions. She has participated in recovery programs personally, both for her own understanding of addiction, and to learn how to offer better support for her own family members, entrapped by it. She has also taken classes in conflict resolution, been on the local crisis pregnancy board, and served as a lay counselor.

Duties:

Serve as Spiritual Roads Board Vice-Chair and in any way needed 

Pastor Mark Levering, Founding / Past President and Chairman

Mark shares a personal concern and a lifetime of experience in helping meet the needs of those with “hurts, habits, and hang-ups” that are proving destructive to their effective Christian living.

Qualifications:

Mark founded and served as Senior Pastor of Sierra Bible Church, Sonora, CA for 40 years before his retirement in June, 2013.

He has worked with various ministry and non-profit organizations to encourage Christian outreach and discipleship.

He also serves on the Board of ROR (Russian Orphan Rescue), a non-profit reaching out to the needs of orphans in Russia through nationals who provide ministry to children in the orphanages and oversight of several transition homes when they graduate while finding their place in the adult world.
